Jim Mackay was a caddie on the PGA Tour from 1990-2017. He had a full-time gig at NBC and Golf Channel before returning to caddie full-time for Justin Thomas in 2022. 

Additionally, Jim has caddied for the following players:  Larry Mize, Scott Simpson, Curtis Strange, Ben Crenshaw, Mark Calcavecchia, and Davis Love III. Jim caddied for Phil Mickelson for 25 years.

In that time, Phil Mickelson won 50 events worldwide, including 5 Major Championships. Jim also caddied in 22 consecutive team events: 11 Presidents Cups and 11 Ryder Cups.

Jim was hired by NBC Golf in July 2017 to work as an on-course reporter.
