Biography

Eric Decker is the former wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans. He was formerly a wide receiver for the New York Jets, and prior to that drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010. He played college football and baseball at the University of Minnesota.

While at the University of Minnesota, Decker was named the third-best wide receiver in college football. Also a talented baseball player, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2008 and the Minnesota Twins in 2009.

Decker signed a four-year contract with the Broncos in 2010. In his rookie season, Decker contributed to the special teams, wrapping up the season with 6 catches over 106 yards and one touchdown. Decker had his breakout season in 2012, alongside new Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning. He had 85 catches for 1,064 yards and 13 touchdowns. The following season, Decker had 87 receptions for 1,288 years, both career highs, and 11 touchdowns. That same year, the Broncos made it to Super Bowl XLVIII, falling to the Seattle Seahawks.

In 2014, Decker signed a 5-year contract with the New York Jets. Since joining the team, Decker recorded two seasons with over 70 receptions.

In 2017, he signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans.
