    Biography

Dana Brunetti, co-founder and President of Trigger Street Productions, is one of the most recognizable and respected producers working in the industry today.

He has produced such award-winning films as "The Social Network" and "Captain Phillips," as well as blockbuster hits like "21" and the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy. Brunetti and Trigger Street are also behind the Netflix political thriller "House of Cards," with Brunetti being one of the key original figures behind the landmark series.

Brunetti and Trigger Street are perhaps best known for the acclaimed film, "The Social Network," a screenplay adaptation written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher about the founding of Facebook, which received eight Oscar nominations. Brunetti won a Golden Globe for producing the film, as well as The National Board of Review and The Critics’ Choice Award, among many others. Trigger Street’s next big film, "Captain Phillips," stared Tom Hanks and received six Oscar nominations. Dana was also behind the box office phenomenon, "Fifty Shades of Grey," which grossed over $560 million worldwide, and the trilogy's follow ups, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," maintained that incredible success.

Brunetti’s first major success was the 2008 thriller "21," and his other producing credits include Fanboys, Discovery Channel's "Manhunt: The Unabomber," CNN's "Race For The White House," and HBO’s "Bernard & Doris," starring Ralph Fiennes and Susan Sarandon, which received 10 Emmy nominations.

As the architect of several groundbreaking deals, Brunetti most notably helped secure the mega-deal with Netflix to produce the political thriller "House of Cards" as part of their new slate of original programming. Brunetti continues to serve as executive producer for the show, which releases its 6th season in 2018—and has garnered multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and awards. Brunetti himself has been nominated for five Emmy’s for his work on the series.

Building on an esteemed career as a producer and co-founder of Trigger Street Productions, Brunetti became one of Hollywood’s youngest studio presidents while at Relativity Media’s Motion Picture & Television Group, where he oversaw the company’s creative content and product up until the end of 2016.

Also an innovator in social networking, Brunetti launched an online social networking and file-sharing platform for feedback and exposure of undiscovered writing and filmmaking talent in 2002, and set up the eight-year Anheuser-Busch sponsorship, which was the brewing company’s longest sponsorship deal ever outside of sports. In 2012, Brunetti, Trigger Street and Jameson Irish Whiskey launched Jameson First Shot, a short-film competition for up-and-coming filmmakers.
