Steve Bodow is co-executive producer and former head writer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Since joining TDS in 2002 he has won nine primetime Emmys, a Peabody and many other awards for his work. Steve also co-wrote the original sketches that later became the basis for The Colbert Report, as well as the Daily Show's best-selling America: The Book and Earth: The Book.
Steve is a founder and former artistic director of Elevator Repair Service, the NYC theater group best known for Gatz, its full-text staging of The Great Gatsby (NY Times #1 show of 2010; international tours to 20+ cities, opening on West End in London, spring 2012). His writing, both funny and not, has appeared in the Times, New York Magazine, Wired, and many other publications.
