Sara Snow

Sara Snow is the bright and vibrant face of Discovery Health's green-living primetime series Get Fresh with Sara Snow, and Discovery Home's Living Fresh. As a green lifestyle expert, Snow has been able to share her knowledge through helpful tips, six nights a week, to over 68 million homes nationwide. Recently, Snow signed on to serve as an environmental expert for Discovery Network's new 24/7 eco-lifestyle channel, Planet Green.

Sara began work in television and quickly gained success, earning two national Emmy Awards as a producer for national cable documentaries; then going on to become an award winning news reporter and anchor. She has been called "first generation organic," and "green living's real deal" and it's easy to see why. Raised in the countryside outside Ann Arbor, Michigan, surrounded by organic gardens, solar panels and compost heaps, Sara enjoyed the benefits of one of the most fresh-oriented areas in the country and a family with a propensity toward and infectious passion for eco living.

Snow is an advocate for green living and has served as a speaker for such events as the Natural Products Expo West and LOHAS, as well as for national television and radio tours. She served as spokesperson for the Organic Center's Mission Organic program and is engaged to do the same for Co-Op America's Green Festivals. Snow is a featured blogger on TreeHugger.com and has been highlighted in publications including The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, FoxNews.com, Health, Woman's Day, Better Homes and Gardens, Lucky, Body + Soul, and Food and Nutrition. Snow is currently signed on to be featured in upcoming articles for Woman's Day, Harper's Bazaar, Shape, CosmoGirl, Prevention, Health, Self, Fitness and Chicago Tribune, among others.
