Colin Cowherd

ESPN / ESPNU Radio Host 

Colin Cowherd is host of ESPN Radio's The Herd with Colin Cowherd, broadcast nationally 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET Monday-Friday from ESPN Radio's studios in Bristol, Conn., and simulcast on ESPNU. He also is co-host of SportsNation, a one-hour, live studio show weekdays at 4 p.m. on ESPN2.

Cowherd joined ESPN Radio in 2004 when The Herd launched 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with a West Coast-only hour airing from 6-7 a.m. Pacific. The Herd features topical commentary on the day's most important sports news, perspective on the top stories, interviews with the biggest newsmakers, and entertaining daily segments including "Spanning the Globe."

Colin has adapted parts of his radio show onto other platforms, including a version of "Spanning the Globe" on ESPN's SportsCenter, and his opening rant presented with video on ESPN360.com. The Herd frequently originates from the site of sports biggest events, including the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Game.

Colin also has hosted various programs for ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN Classic.

Cowherd joined ESPN Radio from KFXX 910-AM "The Fan" in Portland, Ore., where he hosted the popular three-hour morning drive program, The Herd. He also anchored weeknight sports and "Sports Sunday" for KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8.

Cowherd's experience includes serving as sports anchor at Tampa's WTVT-TV, where he received a local Sports Emmy for Buc Sunday, and as sports director at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, where he earned multiple Nevada Sportscaster of the Year awards. He began his career as the play-by-play voice for the Pacific Coast League's Las Vegas Stars.
