Bobbie was raised between New England and Los Angeles, and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho and attended California State University of Northridge for her Master of Science in Counseling. During her three years of graduate studies, Bobbie volunteered as an advocate and counselor at the Valley Trauma Center, a rape crisis treatment facility. This experience cemented her belief that "beauty truly comes from the strength within."

For five years, she shined as the West Coast Editor and 'Bobbeez Buzz' advice columnist for top-selling national teen magazines 'J-14' and 'Twist.' Her assorted experience included style spreads, makeovers, do-it-yourself craft ideas and personal conversations with friends like: Jessica Simpson about body image and the pressure to be picture perfect, heart to heart chats with Britney about boys, and Pink's idea of girl power. Bobbie's loyal readership then followed her to In Touch weekly magazine where her national column, "The Buzz" highlighted Hollywood's hottest fashion and beauty must-haves for more than 7 years.

Bobbie's "Buzz" spread quickly, launching her and her fresh perspective from print into television, radio, and the internet, and earning her the reputation of being genuine and reliable.
